Montroxy

Uh-oh. Full frontal nudity here.

There are a number of awesome 1979 shows for the Manifesto LP. Since at least a half dozen of these were broadcast on various radio stations, there are a lot of bootlegs, and a couple of quasi-legal albums, out there from this tour. The band sounded great and the promotion worked wonders in the US, where the record became Bry's highest charting in America. They toured Europe before hitting the US, and this shows the band firing on all cylinders.

But the artwork is... a lot more explicit than anything Mr. Monopoly would design for public swapping. This was a private commission for a fan in Japan. The model is Gig Gangel, who was probably photographed for this Playboy session right around the time this tour, if not this show, was going on. Mr. Monopoly was pleased that his work was so well-liked that complete strangers were e-mailing him to ask for naughty pictures.

Interestingly, the name "Montroxy" was originally used by the bootleg label Big for their vinyl release. Looks like everybody who ever made CD artwork for it used the same name.
