Everyone's Ideal

One of two known 2001 tour designs by Strimpldisc. Make no mistake: this guy was awesome.

These scans don't do Strimpldisc's work justice. The booklet was actually an eight-page double-sided affair on glossy, slick, heavy paper, and he was among the first 'leggers to print directly onto CD-Rs. Suffice it to say that those of us expecting two discs in an envelope and two attached jpegs in an email were knocked on our socks when we opened our padded envelopes and saw the work he put into his releases.

Of all the CD-R boots that I saw of the 2001 tour, there were three which were amazingly impressive, two of Strimpldisc's and one from Australia I'll share later. Mr. Monopoly's best sleeve was a pretty distant fourth.

Strimpldisc shared that he made a dozen "deluxe edition" copies of his two releases that year. This was the second; the Chicago 2001 show the first. They're among the best treasures of my collection.
